This is hands down the best sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to. Unfortunately I no longer go there because the last time I went, my friend and I became violently ill. If that’s a risk you’re willing to take, I’d definitely recommend this place, but I’m more inclined to go somewhere that’s less expensive and less likely to give me food poisoning.
Nimo’s sushi is the best in Fort Collins. While the “sheep” continue to vote another Japanese restaurant in town for the newspaper “Best Of”, if you want real authentic Japanese cuisine – Nimo’s is THE place. Nimo – the owner – is also the sushi chef. Trained in Japan, he offers the most authentic experience and flavors that you’ll find in Fort Collins. He selects all the fish you’ll enjoy, then prepares it to your liking. Where else can you go that has that kind of accountability for the whole experience? Nimo’s carries a broad selection of Japanese beers and sake. Frequent flyers can even buy a large bottle, write their name on it, and leave it there for the next visit! Quit settling for Americanized Japanese food – get the real deal – Go to Nimo’s!
We are a locally run restaurant dining guide, focusing on Fort Collins Restaurants, local events, attractions, and other foodie topics that make this such a great place to live!
