Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que Invites Public to 'Lip Smackin' Rib-Tasting

Fort Collins, CO -- Get ready to lick your fingers and smack your lips! Famous Dave's in Fort Collins has just announced that it will be holding a rib-tasting event in Front Range Village.

The rib-tasting event will be held on October 3 from 11:00am-3:00pm.at 2880 East Harmony Rd, and is free to all of those who attend. "We always look forward to hosting these events where we are able to talk to our guests face to face while they enjoy our slow-smoked and flame-kissed ribs," said Dallas Massey, Director of Marketing for the Famous Dave's in Fort Collins, CO. "This is a great opportunity not only for us to get to know our guests, but for our guests to have the chance to taste our signature barbeque before we even open our doors for business.”

The rib tasting will be held in the Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que parking lot, in the Front Range Village shopping center. Wilbur, Famous Dave’s beloved mascot, will be on hand taking pictures with kids, and waving at passer-bys. The management team will be on hand sharing some smokin’ secrets, and servin’ up award winning ‘que.

John Thomas   |2009-12-04 18:57:10 I am a repeat customer of Famous Dave's; I find it the best of chain BBQ places. I tend to order To Go and my experiences have not been good with TO GO. The food is OK, but To Go service takes FOREVER to be ready. The staff at To Go service puts no hustle and hurry into getting the orders ready- at Fort Collins last week, it took 25 minutes when we showed up to order To Go and they told us 5-10 minutes. My experience when we call ahead is there STILL IS A WAIT - like they don't put in the order until we get there. We have choices in Fort Collins for BBQ to go, and BBQ is expensive to begin with - we don't expect to wait the same length of time as if we were seated at one of their tables, but that is our experience.
