We hope you are all enjoying the beautiful weather we are finally having!  We are getting closer to the new site launch, and hope to have it done by the end of July.  We have gotten lots of positive feedback (and some not so positive ) and we appreciate any and all thoughts about this site.

 Based on a lot of this feedback, we are trying to move towards a more community orientated theme.  The restaurant listings will always be the first priority, but we are also planning on adding some additional features that have been requested or brought up in discussions.  Thanks to you all, this site is moving from a simple directory listing to a more community orientated resource which we think is great! 

Things coming down the pipeline:

• Events - We will start listing upcoming events for Fort Collins as we hear of them, and of course user submitted events will be welcome!
• Restaurants near by - Restaurant locator based on an address you put in.  Example:  You are at Mountain and College...enter that in, chose all restaurants or which types you are looking for, and how big a radius to search for (.5 miles, 1 mile, etc) and it will show you a listing of restaurants based on your criteria.  This will be super neat!
•  Recipes submission - This has been brought up a few times, not sure how popular it will be but it's an easy thing to add, so we'll play it by ear.  I've got a few to kick it off with anyways...
• Pets - Seriously, this has come up more times than the recipes!  I'm still on the fence with this one, but if we do impliment some type of "Pet of the Week" submission thingy, then I'd like to incorporate the Larimer Humane Society adoptable pets in there somehow.
• Restaurant of the week, or month, or something - This is an obvious match for us, and I like this idea a lot.  Either user submitted or editor picks, we'll see what kind of participation we get for submissions

That's all for now, I'll try and post another update in a few weeks.  Oh yes, the menus...we haven't talked about those yet...that is coming, but logistically has proven to be a bigger task than we can handle right now!  Thanks for all your support!
