My husband and I dine at Sanfords frequently. The staff is always pleasant and they have a great happy hour from 3-7. I've never been disappointed with the food or my dining experience.

My friendn and i ate there for dinner yesterday, we had the fried pickles to start with, which were excellent, and we both ordered hamburgers, which were also excellent. I like my burger cooked med well but not overcooked, it was just right. The food was very good, we each ordered a drink from the bar, not made to our liking. Overall a good experience besides being too pricey.
Great happy hour

Half price drinks and apps during happy hour, great fried pickles and onion rings, not a healthy menu but a fun place

I was very unhappy with Sanford's. There's not a single healthy choice (that I could find) on the menu. Even the salads have all kinds of fried things on top of them. It appears that everything here is deep-fried -- including the bun on my sandwich (per the waiter's explanation when I complained about it). It was obvious to me that they were using and reusing the same, old oil for every menu item as well, because everything on my plate tasted exactly the same. That fried bun tasted like burger fat and pickles - and so did the french fries. And, rather than offering us a discount on the food that I ate only about 10% of, they instead offered us free dessert -- recommending the FRIED oreo dish. Instead, we took a piece of cake (that was dry/not fresh), ate a little, and left.

We just ate here for the first time and were very unhappy with it. There's not a single healthy option on the entire menu (that I could find), and everything is fried.

In fact, upon asking the waiter, I discovered that even the bun on my sandwich was actually deep-fried. Worse yet, it was obvious that old oil was being used and reused for every menu item, because everything on my plate tasted exactly the same. The bun tasted like burgers and pickles, and so did the fries. I couldn't eat either of these items.

To compensate for the fact that I was unhappy, we were then offered a fried oreo dessert to top it off (rather than a discount on the food that I was obviously disgusted by). We took a piece of cake instead (which was dry and not fresh), ate a little of it, and left.
I Agree

The food all sounds so good on the menu, but when it comes out it is disappointing. I have given this place many chances and it always seems to let me down.

I agree about the fried pickles though, they are quite good!
Pretty bad

We have eaten here twice and both times it has been extremely disappointing. The service is fine but the food is just not good at all. You could just go there and eat the fried pickles...they are good!
