El Burrito Restaurant

Been looking for good mexican food in FC and this place was recommended to me. I will not be passing along the recommendation. To sum up,it tasted like some sort of weird store bought food that was heated up in the microwave, but not for long enough. The search continues....

For some reason, my mother in-law has a romantic notion about El Burrito -- she still calls it "Sam's", which was what the bar/lounge was called before El Burrito took over. Needless to say, she made us go there for mother's day. My husband and I wanted to cry, it was that bad. I don't even know what color to call the food. In their defense, the service was good but the food was unspeakably disgusting. Just don't waste your time.

This is hands down the worst food I have ever had at a restaurant in my life! My wife 100% agreed. The food was terrible. The tortillas were like rubber, the sauces were not a color that you would equate for food and the meat was overly greasy. It reminded me of bad frozen food you would get out of a vending machine.

The best in town hands down

The El Burrito is the benchmark for Mexican food in my opinion. I grew eating their food and there is nothing in the US like an El Burrito chorizo burrito smothered.........hmmmmmmmm

I'd give it five stars, except they don't have a good bar. Go there for the food, for drinks someplace else.
