Bisetti's Italian Restaurant

Busy Friday evening with accurate 20 min wait. Cosy bar with full-service tables. We ate in the largest room at the south end which is a little less intimate than the other seating areas. It would be nice if they could lose the mirrored wall at the east end. The revamped decor is pleasant enough but they could have made it more distinctive. Service was great; Keelie was attentive but not intrusive, and actually knew how to correctly pronounce bruschetta. The fried calamari was perfectly cooked; tender, crisp, and light. However, it could do without the accompanying tartar/aoli sauce in favor of a little extra tomato sauce. The signature autumn squash ravioli had maybe a bit too much of the cream sage sauce, but overall was excellent, with a tasty well-seasoned filling and good pasta. A few fried sage leaves would have been a nice touch. The veal saltimbocca had a delicious sauce; the meat maybe a touch tough. The risotto was OK but perhaps too heavy on the finishing cream. For dessert, we ordered a cannolo which was pretty good. Bisettis are known for their cheesecake which we passed on but is very good if you like NY style. I would have appreciated a fruit/sorbet dessert option but none was on the menu. Overall a very good meal and reasonable value.

I went to this restaurant for a nice evening with my daughter and a friend. The food was so so. The gnocchi was awful. My manicotti was dull. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere but I think the deciding factor in my never returning was when the manager came to us over our coffee and asked if we would be needing our table much longer. He said he has reservations to fill and essentially wanted us out! We had only been there a little under an hour. I have never ever been asked to "hurry it along" and I will not allow that manager to do it again. Thanks for ruining what was an ok dining experience.

I've eaten here twice now with my girlfriend and we have been overall pretty happy with it. The food is delicious and the atmosphere and service was really impressive. We are a young couple that eats out alot and this place has really great service compared to alot of the places in Fort Collins. It's alot less expensive then it looks too. We will definetely be back

To be concise...

It is an upscale place which does not feel upscale. I have visited dressed in shorts and a t-shirt, and I have visited in slacks and a tucked in, long sleeved dress shirt, both times I felt at home.

Gnocci: NO GOOD, sorry
Bread and basil butter: Very Good
Ravioli: So So
Tuna: Very Good
Veal Parmisan: Very Good

I give it an 8 out of 10.
