This place is awesome! my Roommate and i stumbled upon it and have been back at least 3 times. They always end up giving us something extra, for example hummus or spanicotti. And the service is awesome, very friendly. and the fiesty feta is amazing, i love it and i dont even like feta
We recently went here for the first time and the food was very good. I got a sampler and my husband got a gyro, and we both enjoyed our meals. The prices were good, especially for the large portions we got. Our server was friendly and helpful and the restaurant (and bathroom) was clean. Overall a great meal!
Apparently part of my review got cut off. Food was tasty-big portions, fresh, and delivered quickly after ordering. We'll be back again.
My wife and I came here yesterday for a lunch date. I was most impressed by the service at the door, where we were greeted by no less than three employees and told they'd be right with us, which they were. Proper acknowledgement of customers is huge with me, and they excelled at it. Very friendly staff.
Both of our meals were excellent. Portions were huge, ingredients seemed very fresh, and delicious. The meal also arrived very quickly after we ordered. We will be back again. Very tasty.
I don't know where Toni ate, but it was not Cafe Athens. You don't order from the counter, the food is prepared fresh, and the gyro meat is cooked on a traditional gyro spit.
We eat there about once a week and have always been happy with the quality of the food. The service has been outstanding. The staff and managers seem to go out of their way to make sure we are happy.
Tried this place out on 6-26-09. I got the loukaniko pizza, which is a type of Greek sausage. It was the best pizza I had eaten in a long time. The sausage was outstanding. Not sure what the crust was, some type of flatbread I believe, but it wasn't heavy at all, it was mostly toppings! Calamari was a great also. Wash it all down with a couple of Greek beers! Can't wait to go back, this place was great. Prices were reasonable, service was outstanding.
There aren't many great locally-owned restaurants here in the Fort, but I think this is one of them. Maybe they had some issues when they first opened, but nowadays it's great!
The gyros are fantastic, and are served on homemade pita bread. We got a sampler platter with all kinds of vegetarian appetizers. The falafel was great, the spanakopita and feta cheese puffs were pretty standard, the hummus was homemade and tasty.
Overall this is just a great spot.
Excellent food at a great price. But I heard how the owner talks to his employees. He is rude.
The staff are very friendly, great service. Gyros platters are absolutely loaded with great food! We will be back!
Had never eaten there before, my son and his wife took us there. The place is very clean and the service was outstanding. For the price we had more than enough to eat. The sampler was great and the meal was very tasty. We will go back!
